An Homage to the Wild Beauty of Nature

The Banjo Patterson hat by legendary Australian hat maker Akubra is named after Andrew Barton “Banjo” Paterson, a famed Australian journalist and “Bush Poet” who wrote about the wild beauties of his native country.

Made of 100% hare fur felt, the Banjo Patterson hat is sturdy and water resistant. It features a wide safari brim that slopes down over the eyes and the neck for improved UV protection and shelter from the elements. Its classic pinchfront crown is decorated with a band made from the scales of a barramundi, a large carp that is fished for sport in the Australian river mouths. Inside, the Banjo Patterson hat is fitted with a satin lining and a genuine leather sweatband for improved comfort.

The Banjo Patterson hat is unisexe. For an expedition in the outdoors, or to be properly geared for your next hunting and fishing trip, you can find it at Henri Henri, Canada’s oldest hat store, as well as on our online store with fast shipping across Canada and the United States.
